Career Readiness Certificate

Attending the Career Readiness Certificate meeting yesterday opened my eyes to a movement that is going on you need to be aware of.  This certificate is for anyone that wants to work or needs a job regardless of age.  Employers are going to be asking for this certificate so you don’t want to miss out on this information.  Here is Joan Evans the Director of Wyoming Workforce Services to explain

This certificate will allow you to set yourself apart from others – It demonstrates to an employer that you have some certifiable skills that can be validated through viewing your credentials on line or verifying them through the testing center.  This is what employers are looking for and here is Joan to explain how to get a Career Readiness Certificate.

This Morning – Benefit Bake Sale, 8 a.m., Pinnacle Bank, Proceeds will go to assist Ron Meyers with travel/lodging expenses when he goes to Texas for more medical treatments.

“Meet the Lancers,” today at  5:30 and 7:30 p.m., immediately following the women and men’s basketball game. Eastern Wyoming College They will be hosting Gillette College and invite you to meet the Lancers and get an autographed poster following each of the games.          

Today  thru 31st – WSCHA Cutting at Goshen County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Classes begin at 4pm on Friday – Saturday and Sunday 8am to 3pm. Free to spectators.

Saturday January 30th Sagebrush and Roses Dinner and Dance at the Goshen County Fairgrounds Rendezvous Center – Black Tie and blue jeans event is a fundraiser for agriculture program at Eastern Wyoming College. This will include Western art exhibits. 

Cocktails begin at 6pm – Dinner at 7 with dancing to follow.
