Goshen County Emergency Response Agencies along with Banner Health held their Full Scale Exercise on Saturday south of Western Sugar. Due to the high winds, the Air Link Helicopter was grounded. Other than that the exercise was completed and everything went as scheduled. A big thank you goes out to the teenage gentlemen that braved the weather wearing only prison clothes. These boys were a few of the victims that were extracted from the totaled van. 26 state and county agencies all worked well together. This was a successful mission and we will get an update from Shelly Kirchherfer in their follow-up meeting.

The terms of this donation specify the donation be used for youth activities. This is speculation on my part but perhaps she is looking out for her nine great grandchildren that live in the area.
Janice Atkins-Neva was on her way to distribute more donations to different charities. This one was the second donation on her list. The first donation was to Oregon Trail Community foundation in the amount of $104,240.

In addition, the governor just signed the department emergency regulation on Aquatic Invasive Species. This regulation is necessary in order to meet the intent of the Wyoming State Legislature which passed the Wyoming Aquatic Invasive Species Act just this past session. The legislation directs the commission to establish a new aquatic invasive species watercraft decal program to help fund prevention efforts.
Under this program, all watercraft using Wyoming waters will be required to display an annual Aquatic Invasive Species decal (inflatable watercraft 10 feet in length or less are exempt). Costs for the decal under the emergency regulations are $10 for motorized watercraft registered in Wyoming,
$30 for motorized watercraft registered in other states, $5 for non-motorized watercraft owned by Wyoming residents and $15 for non-motorized watercraft owned by nonresidents. Decals will go on sale on the WGFD website on April 15 and at automated license selling agents on May 17.
