This Saturday, Nov. 21 is the Tenth Annual Family Volunteer Day. Family Volunteer Day kicks off the holiday season with giving and service. Family Volunteer Day is the perfect opportunity to begin planting the seed for engaging more families in your community. Invite your family and friends to join us in volunteering on this honored day of family service. Anyone can volunteer and what great things we can accomplish if children and adults alike are working together on this National Service Day. KGOS/KERM received the Outstand Conservation News Reporter award from the Wyoming Association of Conservation. This award was presented to Grant Kath for covering district sponsored events, interviews, announcing upcoming events and programs and his dedication to promoting conservation. At the city council meeting on Tuesday, one of the topics of discussion was a new store called Wine Time. I caught up with the owner Roger Huckfeld after the meeting, here is what he had to say.

Roger wants to focus on products made right here in Wyoming. Congratulations to a new business downtown, we will be looking forward to the Grand Opening.
Banner Medical Clinic is holding a drive thru clinic for the seasonal flu vaccine this Saturday the 21st. From 9 am to noon or until supplies are gone. This will be held in the Banner Medical Clinic Parking Lot and is $30 dollars per vaccine.
Wyoming Rodeo Association Finals will be at the Goshen county Fairgrounds this Saturday, Two shows Noon and 7:30 pm. Jackpot on Sunday entry at 9:30 am Event at 10:30am. Sunday event is free to spectators.
