Goshen County Sportsman's Club to offer airsoft and paintball recreation.

Art Lowther is the master mind behind the airsoft and paintball field to be constructed at the Goshen County Sportsman's Club within the next year.  Lowther's background with the Wyoming State Military Department at Camp Guernsey and his involvement in the Wyoming airsoft community for many years provide him with extensive knowledge and proficiency in building this course.

Lowther explained that the state of Wyoming does not currently have an airsoft and paintball field available to the public, and the response received during the Goshen County Sportsman's Club earlier this month really confirmed the desire for this type of recreational activity in the area.

Now that approval has been received, Lowther is in the process of searching for funding support by applying for grants with the help of Goshen County Economic Development Corporation.  He is also welcoming community involvement and input with the design of the field.

Lowther said that the addition of this field at the Goshen County Sportsman's Club will provide an environment for people to participate in airsoft and paintball recreation safely and within the guidelines of the law.  For anyone interested in becoming involved, contact Lowther on his Facebook page Open Sights Airsoft & Paintball Field.
