Torrington Chief of Police Withdraws Acceptance

David Hulshizer, hired just two weeks ago, withdraws his acceptance of the City's Chief of Police position.

 

 

Wednesday, May 16th - The City of Torrington is back to the drawing board to find a Chief of Police after newly hired David Hulshizer of Casper reneged on his acceptance to the position on Tuesday. Hulshizer was hired to the position just two weeks ago and was slated to begin duties on June 11th. He cited personal reasons as an explanation and would not elaborate any further. The City will be pursuing other qualified candidates to fill the position.
