Grant Kath

Grant Kath and his wife Stephanie purchased KGOS/KERM in 2009.  Even with his enormously busy schedule as owner/operator of Kath Broadcasting, Grant also heads up the sales department and loves to be a part of the sports side of the station’s broadcasts, taking part in bringing games to our listeners with the area’s football, basketball and baseball teams. Grant’s father Kerm owned the stations years ago and Grant has been in the business since he was 14 – finally bringing it back into the family once again with the purchase in 2009.  Grant and Stephanie have two children, daughter Taylor and son Ryan.  Contact Grant at his e-mail address at [email protected]

Ryan Kath

Ryan Kath serves as Production Manager & News Director. He grew up in the radio business. He is the son of owners, Grant and Stephanie Kath. In 2019, Ryan graduated from the University of Wyoming where he studied finance. Ryan is proud to work for the family’s business, especially the business that his late grandfather, Kerm Kath started. When Ryan’s not at the radio station, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, working outdoors, or gardening. Kath enjoys his dog (Ranger), baseball, reading, and playing his guitar. Chris Jenkins

Chris Jenkins wears many hats. You can hear him on-air on both 98.3 KERM FM & 1490 AM/99.9 FM Cinch Country. Chris hosts his own shows on Cinch Country and co-hosts Today in the Valley with John Gunn. You may also listen to him during the Noon-hour on KERM. He assists in programming, DJing, and sports commentating. Chris also covers severe weather. Chris grew up in Hawk Springs and has been a part of this community, in particular, for many years. He graduated from American Broadcasting School out of Oklahoma City through an online course. His dream job was always to be on the radio and was given that opportunity in September of 2014. Jenkins has worked for KGOS/KERM since then. Chris loves his kids, family, and the good Lord above. He is also passionate about music, the Wyoming Cowboys, and Denver Broncos. John Gunn

John Gunn, radio personality, has extensive experience in broadcasting. You’ll hear John bright and early in the mornings on 98.3, KERM FM. You may also hear John’s voice on Cinch Country! Gunn adds humor (especially with his Dad jokes), flavor, and excitement to the airwaves! He also assists with sports coverage, Today in the Valleyand the Noon-hour. Gunn enjoys spending time with his wife Gayle, adores his cats, and is an excellent baker! He is from Guernsey, Wyoming and joined Kath Broadcasting in 2020.

Greg Kath

Greg Kath, radio personality, has been in the business for MANY years! Greg is the eldest son of his late parents, Kerm and Delores Kath. You can now hear Greg in the evenings on Cinch Country. He also fills in wherever needed with sports coverage, on Cinch Country, and on 98.3 KERM FM. Many listeners around the area find comfort in a familiar voice, such as Greg’s. Greg enjoys being on the radio as well as being a part of the family business.

Tim Hurst

Tim Hurst, Sports Director, moved to the Wyo-Braska area in 1981. In addition to Sports Director, Hurst is the owner of The Sports Racquet (sporting good store) in Scottsbluff, NE. For many years his two jobs have worked hand-in-hand. He is on-air in the mornings and at Noon. His other duties include announcing Torrington High School Boys and Girls Basketball. Tim began announcing in 1986. His favorite memories include announcing the 3A Boys Championship Games in 1986, 1987, 2010 and 2012. Tim is extremely passionate about sports broadcasting and his favorite teams. Go Blazers! Go Jayhawks!

Lynn Schukei

Like many people in the office, KGOS/KERM is a part of Lynn Schukei’s past and present. Advertisers can rest assured their ads will be heard as she assists (remotely) with scheduling and billing of commercials–making sure we stay on the air to entertain our listeners!!! Lynn is married to retired COL Gordon Schukei. They have five children, Jon, Jason, Angela, Lucas and Kailyn and are known as Oma and Opa to many grandchildren whom they adore.
