Blizzard Warning to be in Effect

April 9, 2019–From Goshen County Sheriff’s Office and the US National Weather Service:

-Blizzard Warnings now in effect for the Nebraska Panhandle for Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon. Periods of whiteout conditions due to heavy snow, blowing snow, and high winds will cause dangerous travel conditions, especially Wednesday afternoon & evening. Snow drifts could reach 1-2′. Avoid travel during the red highlighted time frame.

-Winter Storm Warnings also in effect for much of Southeast Wyoming east of the Laramie Mountain Range. Heavy snow bands will occur with high winds and make travel near impossible at times! Avoid travel during the red highlighted time frame.

Stay tuned through the day and Wednesday as some slight adjustments to snow totals and warned areas will could occur.
