Crystal Scoleri Arraigned in District Court

Torrington, Wyo. (Story by Denise Heilbrun-Ellis) June 23, 2021 — On May 24 in Eighth Judicial District Court in Torrington, Crystal Scoleri, was arraigned with four felony counts before Judge Patrick Korell.

The information filed on April 13 in District Court, states that Scoleri, between the dates of October 2017 and Feb. 22, 2020, allegedly acted upon three counts of accessory before the fact to sexual abuse of a minor in first degree, which the penalty if found guilty is 50 years and not more than $10,00 per count. And, on those same dates, she is also charged with accessory before the fact to incest, which is punishable by 15 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine.

Scoleri, who is the wife of Anthony Scoleri, according to information records did knowingly aid and abet in the commission of inflicting sexual intrusion on a victim who is less than 18 years of age, and Anthony Scoleri, 35, did inflict sexual intrusion by having sexual intercourse with a minor, performed cunninglus, and fellatio, who was 15 years of age.

Crystal Scoleri pleaded not guilty to all four counts and a trial date will be set later.

Her husband, Anthony Scoleri, is set for trial on Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. He has been charged with five felony counts, all of which are alleged sex crimes against a minor.

Crystal is released on a $5,000 bond.
