Goshen County gears up for the primaries

Registered voters are now able to request absentee ballots and vote early.

Election season is upon us, and early voting at the Goshen County Courthouse begins Thursday, July 12 at 7:30 a.m. No excuse is needed to vote early or to vote by mail.

Wyoming allows any registered Wyoming voter the ability to request and then cast an absentee ballot through their county clerk either by mail or in-person at a county clerk’s office. Requests for primary and/or general ballots for Goshen County may be made to the county clerk’s office by stopping by the courthouse or by calling 532-4051.

Sample primary election ballots may be picked up in the county clerk’s office and are also available online at www.goshencounty.org under the election tab on the home page.

“I encourage all eligible Wyoming voters to study their candidate choices, become an informed voter, and then exercise their right to vote by casting a ballot in the upcoming 2018 Primary Election whether in person or absentee.  The outcome of races across our state this August will not only determine the candidate choices placed before voters in November, but also the future of our State,” said Secretary of State Edward Buchanan.

Absentee voting continues until Monday, August 20th, the day before the Primary Election.
