House Fire South of Torrington Causes Extensive Damage

Torrington, Wyo. February 6, 2020 — The Torrington Volunteer Fire Department dispatched at 11:32 AM Wednesday morning to a report of a structure fire on Rd 66.

 

“Upon arrival, the structure had smoke and flame showing” said Fire Chief Lance Petsch, “TVFD requested mutual aid from Veteran Fire Department and Lingle Fire Department.”

The crews were on site for four and a half hours and the cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported and no one was in the structure at the time of the fire.

Goshen County Emergency Management, Goshen County Fire Warden, the Goshen County Sheriffs Office, Torrington EMS, and a representative for American Red Cross were also at the scene of the fire.
