Torrington, Wyo. (RELEASE from WMCI) October 7, 2020 — October 6, 2020, the Wyoming Department of Corrections has selected Unit Manager, Marlena McManis as the new Deputy Warden at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution.  Deputy Warden McManis will assume her duties, October 15, 2020.

Ms. McManis has fourteen (14) years of service with the Department of Corrections, as she started her career at the Wyoming State Penitentiary.  Currently she has served in her most recent capacity as; Unit Manager since 2013.  Ms. McManis holds two (2) Associates Degrees in Medical Terminology and Criminal Justice along with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice.

Acting Director Daniel Shannon commented “Deputy Warden McManis displays high integrity and is ethically grounded, I have no doubt she will contribute excellence to the Executive Leadership team.”
