EWC to Break Ground on New ATEC Building

image description

November 20, 2018--Eastern Wyoming College will break ground on the new Agricultural Technology Education Center in approximately four months.

John Hansen, Director of Institutional Development said, "It's been a dream for about 10 years."

The goal is to have an educational facility to meet the agricultural needs of this community. This building is meant to be a state of the art, next generation facility for agricultural students. A committed advisory council, foundation, and community partners have been dedicated to this project. The ATEC building is not state-funded.

A bid opening took place last week, with eight bids submitted. EWC is in the process of going through the bids to verify and then announce which contractors will be awarded.
