House Fire on East L Street

TORRINGTON, Wyo. October 2, 2019 -- Firefighters that were dispatched to a house fire on East L Street on Tuesday were back at it again early Wednesday morning after the fire rekindled.

The Torrington Fire Department was initially dispatched to the fire at 11:15 AM Tuesday morning, where they requested mutual aid from the cities of Lingle and Scottsbluff. The structure fire spread from the initial townhouse into adjacent buildings. Crews were on site for 5 hours after the initial dispatch, and they returned around 2:00 AM after the fire resumed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

WESTCO also presented a check from a CoBank grant in the amount of $7,500 in support of the project.
