Subaru Stuck On Train Tracks

February 26, 2019—Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper, Brian Sinner, responded to an incident yesterday afternoon. He said, “A tractor trailer combination was traveling east bound while a Subaru Tribeca was headed west bound. The Subaru Tribeca crossed over the center line and side swiped the trailer. The Subaru got stuck on the railroad tracks.  A tire came off of the tractor trailer and did almost hit another vehicle.”

Sinner was dispatched to the scene around 12:50 p.m. Emergency vehicles did respond and no major injuries have been reported. Sinner explained that a train was stopped ahead of the scene of the accident. The train had passed before the accident happened. This was reportedly in the vicinity of Butler’s Truck Salvage and Towing.

“The timing was lucky and no other trains were coming. I believe all trains were stopped for about an hour and a half to two hours due to this accident,” said Sinner.
