Burns, WY August 24th, 2023 — A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident near Burns on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, suspect Tyler Hill was apprehended by the Pine Bluffs Police Department after fleeing the scene at 4572 Teal Lane in Burns.
At 1:23PM, the LCSO received a report of a shooting incident. A Burns Sheriff’s Deputy and Eastern Rural Deputy arrived on scene where the victim was pronounced deceased.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide by the LCSO and DCI.
