THS Head Football Coach Leaving

April 10, 2019–Torrington High School Football Coach, Mark Lenhardt, has stepped down from his position and has accepted the Head Football Coach position at Rock Springs High School. Lenhardt was the Blazers Head Coach for a total of 8 seasons and had a 47-31 record and 41-10 over the last 5 seasons.

During that time, the blazers were 3A State Runners-Up in 2017 and 2018. Mark was the 4 time EWAC Coach of the Year in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018. He was a 2 time Scottsbluff Star Herald Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2017. For being the smallest Class 3A football school during his tenure as Head Coach, the Trailblazers were in the 3A State Football Championships 4 out of the last 5 years. Mark and his family will remain in Torrington through the end of the school year.
