Torrington, Wyo. December 28, 2020 — Banner Health in Torrington has received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Torrington Community Hospital shared this post on Facebook:

Zach Miller, RN and CEO at Torrington Community Hospital, administers one of the first Moderna COVID-19 vaccines received in Goshen County to Dr. Erica Barrows-Nees.
When asked why she chose to receive the vaccine, Dr. Barrows Nees said, “ I received the vaccine to protect those most vulnerable, and to lead the way to recovery for us all.”
This first distribution of vaccines has been allotted for healthcare workers. We are excitedly awaiting increased shipments of the vaccine over the coming weeks and months. We view this as a critical tool to protect our community in the fight against COVID-19.
