Torrington, Wyo. January 24, 2020 (RELEASE from GCSO) — On January 24, 2020 at approximately 1:08 p.m. The Goshen County Sherriff’s Office along with Torrington Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of an accidental gunshot wound to the head. 

Deputies arrived at the residence and found one female with a gunshot wound to her head.  The female was transported to Community Hospital where she was then transferred to Regional West Medical Center. The victim succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. The victim was identified as Deedra Strauch from Scottsbluff, NE.  The suspect was identified as Terry D. Anderson of Torrington, WY.  The suspect was apprehended in Henry, NE by Nebraska Law Enforcement.  There is no other information at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
