TORRINGTON, Wyo. (RELEASE from WESTCO) September 19, 2019–WESTCO presented the Goshen Irrigation District with a contribution of $10,000 for irrigation canal tunnel repair on Thursday in Torrington. WESTCO also presented a check from a CoBank grant in the amount of $7,500 in support of the project.

WESTCO President and CEO David Briggs said, “The tunnel collapse in mid-July had a huge impact on not only our producers but our communities. The WESTCO Board thanks the Goshen Irrigation District and the Gering/Fort Laramie Irrigation District for their repair efforts and we hope these funds can help with a long-term solution.”
